Intercom's public seat prices and Fin outcome fees, set next to tkit.ai's indicative workspace plans. No testimonials, no resolution-rate claims.
Intercom publishes seat prices and a separate charge for Fin outcomes. tkit.ai publishes indicative workspace prices that are not per seat, and it does not sell an outcome meter on this site. This page sticks to those listings. It does not copy Intercom's customer stories or any resolution statistic from their marketing.
The Intercom numbers come from Intercom's pricing page. That page has an annual and monthly billing toggle. The seat figures below are what the page lists. Confirm which billing period you are looking at before you treat $29 as the monthly number and the annual number at the same time. tkit.ai's figures are the ones on our pricing page, and they are indicative.
What Intercom lists
The pricing page lists Essential at $29 per seat per month, Advanced at $85, and Expert at $132. Each of those is marked as including the Fin AI Agent, and Fin is also listed from $0.99 per outcome.
Essential's listed features include Fin, Messenger, a shared inbox and ticketing, pre-built reports, and a public help center.
Their FAQ on that page says all plans include free unlimited live chat, support email, in-app chats, banners, and tooltips. A Fin outcome, as they define it there, is a conversation where the customer confirms the issue is resolved, or does not ask for more help, or Fin completes a workflow. They say that charge happens once per conversation.
They also list a 14-day trial with no credit card and a minimum of one full seat. Copilot is an add-on at $29 per agent per month billed annually, or $35 monthly. Proactive Support Plus is listed at $99 per month.
That is a broad suite: messenger, email, banners, tooltips, a help center, reports, and an AI agent with a per-outcome price. tkit.ai does not offer that list. Pretending otherwise would make this page useless.
What tkit.ai publishes
The product is a hosted widget and a shared inbox. The script is https://cdn.tkit.ai/widget.js with data-widget-id. Installation is documented in the install guide. Allowed domains, including *.example.com, limit where the snippet runs. A workspace can hold more than one widget. Teammates share the inbox, and a conversation can be raised as a ticket.
Indicative prices:
- Starter, $12 per month or $9 when billed annually: 3 workspaces, unlimited teammates, 1,000 tickets per month.
- Growth, $19 or $15: 5 workspaces, unlimited teammates, 10,000 tickets per month.
- Scale, $39 or $31: unlimited workspaces, unlimited teammates, 50,000 tickets per month, priority support.
There is no online checkout. Account creation does not require a credit card. Plan enforcement is not available, so these cards are a description, not a subscription you can start from the page.
Tee answers from the notes and FAQs on a widget. It can admit it does not know. You can pause one conversation, disable Tee on the widget, or rename it. There is no published per-outcome fee for Tee on the pricing page. There is also no published resolution rate. If you need a number like that, measure your own threads.
Arithmetic, with the billing-period caveat
Intercom's unit is a seat, plus Fin outcomes. tkit.ai's published unit is the plan, with unlimited teammates written on Starter, Growth, and Scale.
If the $29 Essential figure is the per-seat price you are being shown, five seats list at $145 before any Fin outcome charges. tkit.ai's Growth card lists $19 per month, or $15 when billed annually, for the plan rather than per teammate. That comparison is only fair if you confirm Intercom's toggle. A price shown on the annual side of their page is not the same offer as the monthly side. Fin at $0.99 per outcome can also exceed the seat total if many conversations qualify under their definition.
A one-seat Intercom workspace at the listed $29 is a different comparison. Against tkit.ai's Starter card at $12, the seat price is higher and the product list is much longer. Against a team that only needs website chat and an inbox, the extra Intercom surface may be unused cost. Against a team that needs a public help center, banners, and proactive messages, tkit.ai does not replace those lines.
Inbox and AI, without the slogans
Both products talk about a shared inbox. Intercom's Essential plan lists a shared inbox and ticketing next to Messenger. tkit.ai's inbox is the dashboard for the website widget: unread conversations, attachments, and tickets with statuses such as open, resolved, and closed. It is not Intercom's Messenger, and it does not include their email, banners, or tooltips.
Their AI is Fin, included in the seat plans they list, with the outcome fee above. Ours is Tee, scoped to the notes you write for one widget, with a human follow-up when the note is missing. Read AI website chat for the switches. Do not treat either description as a quality test.
Which published shape matches the team
Intercom's page fits a team that wants the suite they list and can budget seats plus outcomes. The trial they describe is 14 days, no credit card, one full seat minimum. Copilot and Proactive Support Plus are extra if you turn them on.
tkit.ai fits a small group that wants website chat, domain limits, and one inbox, and wants the published price to stay flat as more teammates join. It does not fit a team that needs Intercom's help center, banners, tooltips, or proactive product. It also does not fit someone who wants to pay by card today. Pricing tells you to contact us.
The live chat for SaaS page is the same tkit.ai product described for software teams. The support templates are drafts for the replies a person still writes.
